Children’s football match in Majorca ends up in huge brawl

POLICE are investigating these shocking scenes of violence at a children’s football match on the holiday island of Majorca.

The game involving youngsters aged 12 and 13 had to be suspended after a row between several dads turned sour.

Footage taken by a shocked spectator showed the parents punching and kicking each other.

They can be seen ignoring the anguished screaming of mums who were horrified at what they were seeing and trying to protect children at the scene.

The mass fight happened yesterday at a game between children’s football teams Alaro and away side Collerense.

Alaro, an inland village tucked away in the west of the island, is described in holiday brochures as a place with “rustic, authentic appeal” and a far cry from the rowdy resorts along the coast nearby.

Several parents are understood to have invaded the pitch after a bad tackle by one of the players.
